Malgudi Days is a collection of short stories by R.K. Narayan published in 1943.The book was republished outside India in 1982 by Penguin Classics. The book includes 19 stories, all set in the fictional town of Malgudi located in South India.In 1986, a few of the stories in the book were included in the Malgudi Daystelevision series directed by actor and director, Shankar Nag.That small village Malgudi is none other than Agumbe which was renamed only for TV Series.
Agumbe is a small village located in Shimoga district,Thirthahalli taluk in the Malnad region of Karnataka, India. It is sometimes called "The Cherrapunji of the South" after Cherrapunji, in Northeast India.Agumbe is associated with rainforest conservation efforts, documentation of medicinal plants, tourism (trekking and photography), power generation through hydroelectrics and promotion of cottage industry.

This fare includes 2 nights stay in tent on sharing basis. Includes 3 breakfast, 2 lunch and 2 dinner.
Riders should be ready to adjust in any kind of accommodation and food depending on the place.

Leave from Bangalore and have breakfaston the way. Afternoon reach at the Camp stay and have Lunch. Evening we can visit ARRS (Agumbe Rainforest Research Station) and some activities. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

After breakfast, we shall visit to Kundadri Peak which is 20kms. After Kundadri, we can go to either Onikeabhe Falls (5kms) or Barkana falls (10kms) or Sirimane falls (31kms). Lunch at camp site. Evening, we can visit the sunset point (3kms) or evening is free at riders will and wish.
