Banasura was the son of Mahabali who was a very respected king of kerala. The Banasura Sagar dam, named after him, is located 21 kms from kalpetta, in waynad district, is the largest earthen dam in india and the second largest in asia and an ideal starting point for hikes into the surrounding scenic mountains. Banasura sagar dam is at the foot of the Banasura hill and is made up of massive stacks of stones and boulders.
Ride starting point & Time: Bakery at the junction of Mysore Road exit of NICE road and Mysore Road by 6:00AM.
Bangalore -> Bidadi -> Mandya -> Srirangapatna -> Nanjungud -> Gundlupet -> Sulthan Bathery -> Banasaura Sagar.

FARE: Rs.1500/- Per head.
This fare includes 1 night stay in the homestay on sharing basis, 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 1 dinner.
Riders should be ready to adjust in any kind of accommodation and food depending on the place.
This fare DOES NOT include mineral water, lunch on Day 2, fare or entry charges, toll fee and anything else not mentioned in includes.
