Agni Gudda mountain near Shakleshpur meaning "Fiery Mountain" receives its name for its legendary volcanic properties. Frequently visited by trekkers and campers, the top of the mountain offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding rice terraces.
The 600 year old Bettada Byraveshwara temple in the vicinity will offer a wonderful opportunity to view the surrounding landscapes.

Leave from the toll plaza and ride on the 4 lane highway till Hassan (some parts are under construction). Breakfast on the way. Ride from Hassan to Shakleshpur on a 2 lane road. Reach the Makkithitta homestay for lunch. Ride to the Agni Gudda mountain and enjoy the view. Overnight at homestay.
