Early morning leave for Ludhiana.
|3||2012-07-23||Ludhiana – Amritsar (205 kms)|
Ride to Wagah Border Via Amritsar. See evening ceremony. Ride back to Amritsar.
|4||2012-07-24||Amritsar to Jammu (205 kms)|
See Golden Temple in morning and ride through plains of Punjab and to reach Jammu.
|5||2012-07-25||Jammu to Srinagar (300 kms)|
After breakfast leave for Srinagar. Enter the beautiful Kashmir valley by afternoon. Evening arrive in Srinagar.
Day to explore Srinagar. Explore Srinagar, Dal Lake, Nagin Lake, Mogul gardens and the bazaars of Srinagar.

After breakfast leave for Kargil. On way stop at the beautiful meadows of Sonmarg, the rivers and mountain streams and we cross the snow covered Zojila Pass. Arrive at Kargil by late evening after passing via Drass (the second coldest place in the world).

After breakfast leave for Leh and arrive by evening. Cross Mulbek and see the topography changing to mountain desert. Stop at Lamayuru for lunch and visit the Lamayuru Monastery (one of the largest monasteries in Ladakh). Arrive in Leh by evening.
Day for rest OR can go for White Water Rafting in the Zanskar River OR take a day excursion from Leh visiting the monasteries of Hemis, Alchi and Likir and stop by at Indus River.

Early morning leave for day trip to the beautiful Pangong Lake. The views of Pangong Lake are spectacular with the azure blue waters with the mountains in the background. It is 150 kms ride each way. Return back to Leh by evening.
|11||2012-07-31||Leh - Khardungla Pass - Nubra Valley (140 kms)|
Drive up to the top of Khardungla Pass. Khardungla Pass is the highest motorable pass in the world. Drive onward to Nubra Valley and explore the Hunder sand Dunes and take a camel ride on a double humped camel.

Back to Leh from Nubra Valley.

After breakfast leave for Sarchu. We pass by some of the most scenic high altitude riding roads as we pass Baralachala pass and Tanglang la pass (the highest on Leh - Manali highway).

Cross high passes and reach Keylong.

Early morning leave for Kullu passing Keylong and Rohtang Pass. Afternoon reach Kullu.
